3 ár, IKEA, útskrift, …, …
Í gær (það er víst komið fram yfir miðnætti núna) áttum við Arna þriggja ára byrja-saman afmæli. Við fórum út að borða á American Style (ég veit, rómó), en annar staður átti að vera fyrir valinu. Aumingja Arna tók lokapróf úr eðlisfræði í Sumarskólanum í FB rétt fyrir deitið og gekk víst ekki alltof vel. Við skemmtum okkur þó vel bæði tvö.
Ég var ýkt rómó og gaf henni hjartahálsmen og hring í stíl. Enduðum svo hjá Möggu, Jóu og Bigga þar sem við átum okkur endanlega pakksödd af pönnukökum.
Það hefur heldur mikið gengið á hjá mér seinustu vikur. Við fjárfestum í nýjum skáp úr IKEA fyrir hálfum mánuði, hurðirnar voru ekki til en við fengum þær í dag.
Það er meira djöfulsins málið að setja saman þessi helvítis IKEA húsgögn, sem eiga að vera fíflheld. Miðað við skapsveiflurnar hjá feðginunum þetta kvöld kvíði ég því að setja hurðirnar upp!
Þar á undan gerðist sá merki atburður að ég útskrifaðist frá FB. Í framhaldi af því sótti ég um stjórnmálafræði við HÍ og er kominn inn, enda verðlaunadrengur hér á ferð! Já, ég var kallaður upp fyrir framan allan salinn þar sem mér voru veitt verðlaun fyrir framúrskarandi námsárangur í umhverfisfræði. Ég fékk í verðlaun þessa stóru, fínu bók sem heitir Dýrin.
En áður en ég útskrifaðist dimmiteraði ég. Ég held að orðið “vá” nái ekki að lýsa því hversu vel ég skemmti mér þann daginn og hversu timbraður ég var daginn eftir.
Annars er það kannski nýjast í fréttum af mér að ég gerðist, svona í tilefni af umhverfisfræðinni, umhverfisvænn. Ég keypti mér þriggja mánaða strætókort í fyrradag. Það er óþarfi að keyra alla leið niður í bæ og til baka á hverjum degi. Ég geng núna í tvær mínútur út á stoppistöð, tek einn strætó alla leið niður í vinnu, er ekki hálftíma á leiðinni og er kominn ca. tíu mínútum fyrir opnun. Á þessu græði ég kannski ekki mikinn bensín pening, en ég þarf aldrei að leita að stæði, menga mun minna og get lesið á leiðinni eða horft á bíómynd í iPodnum. Meira að segja stefnir allt í að ég nái að klára A Long Way Down eftir Nick Hornby á næstu dögum vegna þessarra strætóferða, eftir marga mánuði af lestri. Ég gef mér ekki tíma í að lesa þegar ég er hérna heima, tek alltaf sjónvarp eða tölvu fram yfir lesturinn.
Ég fór líka í nískubíó síðasta þriðjudag á hina umtöluðu mynd, The Hangover. Jafn skemmtilega og fyndna mynd hef ég ekki séð í mörg ár. Höfundunum tókst að þjappa öllum fyndnustu og bestu viðbrögðum, atburðum og kringumstæðum sem hægt er að hugsa sér í 90 mínútna mynd. Þó myndin hafi ekki verið jafn fyndin og ég átti von á var hún samt sem áður svo fyndin, skemmtileg og vandræðaleg að hún uppskar hreina tíu hjá mér!
Á morgun (eða í dag) er stefnan sett svo á útilegu með Frank stóra bró og fleirum við Apavatn.
Hægt er að fylgjast með öllum kvikmyndum sem ég horfi á hérna uppi í “Kvikmyndir og tónlist” tabinu.
