Úrskurður Hæstaréttar kveðinn upp

Hæstiréttur kvað upp úrskurð 8. maí í Istorrent-málinu svokallaða (hrd. 194/2008) um að málinu skuli vísað frá. Af því leiðir að Istorrent hefur unnið málið og rétthafasamtökin fjögur skulu því greiða samtals 900 þúsund í málskostnað fyrir héraðsdómi og Hæstarétti. Málið hefur kostað Istorrent yfir 3,5 milljónir fyrir héraðsdómi en ekki liggja fyrir kostnaðartölur vegna rekstur þess fyrir Hæstarétt. Samkvæmt lögbannslögum fellur lögbannið sjálfkrafa úr gildi um miðnætti aðfaranætur föstudagsins 16. maí. Áætlað er að reisa aftur skráardeilihlutann síðar sama dag ef ekkert stendur því að vegi.Tekið af torrent.is, þann 9. maí 2008.
